Wesley's Mission Market provides clothing, furniture and other goods to people who are less fortunate.
Mission Markets provide those less fortunate with an opportunity to choose clothing, furniture and household items at an affordable price, and help fund caring community work.
Wesley Newcastle City Mission runs two retail locations, a shop at Wallsend and a main warehouse at Islington.
The aim of this area of our work is two-fold; (1) provide those less fortunate with an opportunity to purchase clothing, furniture and household items at an affordable price, and (2) generate surplus funds to help support other areas of community support.
In contrast to other charity groups, Wesley Newcastle City Mission is working to maintain the traditional Op-Shop - with a touch of professionalism.
Our Mission Markets are run by a single paid member of staff and a significant team of volunteers.
We acquire all stock through donations from the public. If you are in the Newcastle area or Hunter region, please call the warehouse to organise a pickup:
